Patrycja Dolowy
// Art // Science // Action

Her activities in these seemingly distant worlds connects the need of listening, to hear out and reaching, unveiling what for some reason is invisible or was omitted. Listening to and telling stories transcends people, culture, art, theatre and literature. Because, indeed, transcending the known, taming the new, experiencing concerns many spheres of life, it is common to all three worlds which Patrycja Dolowy develops and in which she works: art, science and being with others. Apparently, it took her a bit of time to realize that. Going through the world, going through the earth, going through the stories. Mindfulness, listening to and passing the story on.

As an artist she works with difficult memory, space, body, pictures and words. She listens to and tells stories. She is a witness.

In science she listens to the interdisciplinary, created at the crossroads of scientific disciplines. She is keen on discovering individual voices of people of academia, in particular in the age of information overload, which makes ‘science’ be thrown into one category, and that which is connected with it is perceived stereotypically.

As an activist she listens to and works with people, but she is also rebellious. She actively works to promote change. She holds workshops, initiates and takes part in social campaign, sets new paths, explores ideas.
