For last years she’s been interested in the problems of memory and heritage in her art and work. Private memory, difficult memory of minorities. She bases her projects on oral history and testimonies, interviewing tens of witnesses to history and their descendants, listening to hundreds of stories. Listening to people, getting their stories across to others, working with the memory and post-memory of Holocaust she recognizes as her mission and sense of her activity.

MSc from Warsaw University, 2002, PhD from the Polish Academy of Sciences, 2007, art diploma with distinction from the Academy of Artistic (Lilith is leaving... supervised by Piotr Komorowski).

She’s exhibited her works in more than 60 individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and Europe, published her texts and photographs in art magazines and popular press.
She’s started her career from creating a subjective form of staged photography, using classical techniques. She dyed, painted, and crumpled her plates, called her sessions “séances.” Since 2011 she conducts on-going performance in city public spaces called "Views: memory of the city/memory of the body". She has initiated, originated and collaborated in few collective art projects with other artists. Since 2012 she’s collaborating with theatre directors, mainly with Pawel Passini and neTTheatre as the author of dramas. Beside theatrical plays she writes essays and short stories. A winner of (ia): the contest of Polish Association of Artistic Photographers (2010), the Karol Sabath Award, 2011, honorable award Kontrapunkt, 2015 for the drama “Hideout”, two-time finalist of Warsaw Festival of Art Photography (2009, 2011), two-time stipendist of the Polish Ministry of Culture, (2012, 2017).
